Top 5 Free to Play Games on Android in Europe Q2 2022

The second quarter of 2022 saw some dynamic shifts in the performance of the top free-to-play games on Android in Europe. Here, we take a closer look at the weekly downloads, revenue, and active users for the top 5 games: Coin Master, Candy Crush Saga, State of Survival: Zombie War, Gardenscapes, and Roblox.

Coin Master from Moon Active showed a consistent increase in weekly revenue, peaking at around $4.6M by the end of June. Weekly downloads, however, saw a downward trend from 197K at the beginning of April to approximately 128K by the end of June. Active users also decreased from 1.6M to 1.5M over the same period.

Candy Crush Saga by King experienced fluctuations in weekly revenue, reaching a high of $2.5M in mid-April and ending the quarter at around $2.2M. The game maintained a steady download rate, with a slight dip from 227K to 187K weekly downloads. Active users remained stable, hovering around 4.4M throughout the quarter.

State of Survival: Zombie War by FunPlus International AG saw its weekly revenue fluctuate, peaking at approximately $2.1M in mid-June. Weekly downloads had a notable drop from 65K to around 78K. Active users showed a slight decline, going from 916K to 828K.

Gardenscapes by Playrix saw a decline in weekly revenue from $1.6M at the start of April to around $1.2M by the end of June. Weekly downloads also decreased, from 108K to approximately 79K. Active users dropped from 2.3M to 1.9M during the quarter.

Roblox by Roblox Corporation demonstrated a steady trend in weekly revenue, with a slight increase towards the end of June, reaching approximately $1.5M. Weekly downloads remained strong, with a slight uptick from 539K to around 511K. Active users saw a consistent rise, starting at 26M and ending the quarter at 28.3M.
